Vernita Stevens is a mother, retired United States Marine, and an Agent for Change. She has been assisting executives and organizations both nationally and internationally for over 20 years.

In a world constantly changing, she is fueled by her lived experiences and as a lifelong learner she combines military strategy, discipline, and determination to be part of the change. Vernita is the Founder of 2p Paradigm of Possibilities, LLC and 2p Center of Excellence, Inc. She has a passion for speaking, training and consulting on Bystander Intervention and DEI issues/concerns. Her focus has been on change efforts in understanding bystander intervention and equity and inclusion within the schools and the workplace. She has been featured in the Success Women’s Conference, “Speakers” Magazine, and published in the Atlanta Business Journal featuring the “Impact of a Bystander” raising awareness about bullying and safe intervention in youth.

As a Congressional and Legislative Fellow, she served as the point of contact for casework, disputes, constituent inquiries on disparities & inequities for House and Senate Congressional offices. During her Marine Corps career her experiences as an Equal Opportunity Representative, Inspector General Chief, Drill Instructor, and Formal school instructor taught her to create strategies and solutions to address change, social & economic impact, and document lessons learned. 

She holds the Blacks in Government Meritorious Service Award, Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition and Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs Certificate of Appreciation, and a Master’s in Human Relations with an emphasis in Diversity, Equity, and Social Justice from the University of Oklahoma.
